Michelle Gale has worked as an editor on 100+ books during her 10+ years in publishing, including cookbooks, narrative nonfiction, and children’s books.
She got her start as the books intern at The Stranger and then moved on to the small indie press Sasquatch Books as a production editor. There she worked on a wide range of books, oftentimes with high-profile regional authors. Michelle went on to work as an editor at Modernist Cuisine, primarily focusing on foreign editions and Modernist Pizza. At the start of 2022, Michelle left her full-time role and now works as a freelance copyeditor, proofreader, and project manager. In addition to running Raspberry Bow, of course.
